FORGET BECKHAM…L.A. LOVES RONALDINHO… 02/11/2007

Here I am again...10.000 meters high , seat 28c on flight CO5941 from L.A. to Houston...where I'll transfer to another flight that will take me back to São Paulo after spending 7 days in the "city of angels"...there could not be a better name for this city...
I guess sometimes all one needs is 1 week in L.A. , longer than that could become a problem...
If you're in the city now you must not leave before seeing the Salvador Dali exhibition at the LACMA and the cirque du soleil show "CORTEO".
Different than what I expected "CORTEO" impressed me with it's elegance, harmony and human warmth...bringing back the traditional circus in it's purest form...laughing at the innocent and childish humor of a clown makes one appreciate the simplicity of things...something that can never be bad.
And then there was halloween...it wasn't planned but my stay in the city coincided with this year's celebrations and after many years I could again enjoy "the american carnival"....I spent the day watching cute little kids of all races dressed in all kinds of costumes giving the city an air of safeness, happiness and again innocence...of course by night the story was a bit different....
