Spent most of my morning with Coca on the patio outside the studio barefoot under the winter sun having a meeting about our next project…it feels good to be in action with her again…
Cooked a simple yet tasty lunch for both of us afterwards and saw her off to her next big meeting today with the presentation we prepared during the morning…hopefully it will be fine…
After too many days tattooing without a break I’m dedicating the next couple of days to other things that also require my attention and care…and somehow everything flows smoothly and the days are productive and fun…
As I write I can see my garden , well it’s more like an attempt to have my own tropical forest at home…green all over the place…I can also hear all kinds of birds outside and with the acoustic gypsy guitar playing it’s hard to believe that I’m in the middle of one of the most chaotic and polluted cities in the world…I could very easily believe that I’m fortunate enough to be enjoying a peaceful afternoon on a farm in central Brazil…
by the end of the week tattooing starts again and as I look at my schedule I realize that in practically 3 more months the year of the boar is over…yet to me what matters is that if the year ended today I would for sure have a smile on my face convinced that it was a good one…

Your contented diary entry was a fitting entry point to your blog for me today. It takes a certain amount of imagination and contentment to envision oneself in a tropical farm setting amongst a monster city like SP. I have been spending a few weeks between and an old and new home, with dear friends, and their rustic abode is juxtaposed with a depressing industrialscape. You would never imagine a charming, ramshackle ‘country’ garden, complete with a borrowed park bench, would exist in on the edge of this Sydney highway. We have been so relaxed today and grateful for our recent gifts we even invited ourselves onto the neighbour’s front veranda and helped her forget the city’s toxicity with 10am glass of wine. The joys of a neighbourhood. Anyway, just a rambling Sunday sentence or two to say I enjoyed your writing today. I know you’re not a writer so that makes it maybe all the more important that you keep writing.

Jun, isso sim é tattoo de arrancar a pele e deixar num museu e outra é que preciso de uns desenhos seus pra fazer Stencil nas ruas do sertão brasileiro Juazeiro. Dá uma olhada no nosso blogger e confira o nosso trabalho.
Outra foi que o Akira ficou de mandar um shape dele para fazer-mos um stencil com um dragão seu e até agora nada.

Nossa, que coisa mais linda! Encontrei alguns trabalhos seus em uma revista de design (zupi) e fiquei estupefato. Vai de encontro a algo que quero fazer algum dia, uma tatuagem com equilibrio entre o cheio e a pele. E é claro que a gravura japonesa é uma referência.
