Since he first left NZ and moved into SEAsia and then Japan he started his journey home and became part of that culture again that headed South back in time and has returned through this union. I stand in awe of the coming together of the artist and the subject and the communion that has taken place. It is said that a good soul wears their heart on their sleeve (this transcends this). Our origins see Koru for the final flight back North from our Southern world; it is all here in an essence and words do not need to be expressed.
