It’s sunday , 2:10 am and I’m doing the blog thing…tattooed all day and still could not go to sleep before posting what I tattooed on Ricardo’s leg last week…good night…


This was the beggining of Ricardo’s first time being tattooed…sometimes instead of feeling physically tired and mentally exhausted you feel invigorated and energized by the work and the person you just tattooed…and this was the case last week…

Using the blue pen after deciding what stays and what goes…

And after 1 hour and a half we have the lines we need….

And those lines are now permanent…

The lines seem to make the knee “disappear”…

I know Ricardo slept very well after this…

Enjoying tattooing every single one of these lines….

It rained very hard the whole time during our 2nd day…the sound of the water making it a very serene session…which doesn’t mean that Ricardo doesn’t know now what it feels like to have your thigh, knee and calf tattooed…rain or no rain it does hurt….

Took this photo 2 days after we finished the tattoo in front of my studio in Sao Paulo…since me and Ricardo met for the first time when he introduced himself and explained to me how he wanted to wear his tattoo I could sense that our sessions would be fine,before our conversation was over I already had the design finished in my head…sometimes you can call that “to underestimate the job” which obviously wasn’t the case…we enjoyed a very smooth flow of time and energy during both sessions…of course that does not happen everyday…but it does make all those other days worth it…
