Back to tokyo after 10 days of drawing, reading and yoga…(yes, yoga)…no phone,e-mail or movies… The carp on the picture was finished on the 8th day…honestly I do not understand people that travel alone…it seems a bit boring to me…this time it was my turn to deal with my own company for 10 days without a place to run to in case I became to annoyed with myself… Did the carp, read 3 books, yoga every morning….how do I feel? SAME,SAME BUT DIFFERENT!!

I was surprised to run into this situation in the middle of nowhere in Thailand…I forgot the tattooist’s name but he looked very young and I felt a very good energy during the time I spent watching him work…knowing how hard it is to tattoo the old way and also how difficult it must be for someone like him to buy the “proper equipment” in thailand I felt deep admiration for him and understood that he is the type of person that will always find a way to do what he wants… the absence of electricity do make things more peaceful, quiet and somehow natural….

The look on his face makes me want to tattoo…if you know what I mean…kl4.jpg

After one longtail boat , a 2 hours ride on a van and 2 ferry boats welcome to KOH LANTA!!

Just couldn’t help thinking as I enjoyed this sunset on this side of the world that I could somehow also “see” it as a sunrise in Brasil…kl6.jpg

The black tile pool at SRI LANTA…(the place to stay in Lanta)

It’s official…I’m the newest yoga victim…people that know me know how much I used to say that I would NEVER,NEVER,NEVER do yoga…well I’m not only doing it I think I LIKE IT…. this on the picture is my first teacher SHECK with whom I had the pleasure to practice for 9 straight days in a very peaceful and beautiful set up in Lanta…my new dream? TO TOUCH MY KNEES WITH MY FOREHEAD…

I finally had a chance to wear the the” triple J t-shirt”…JUN TAKAHASHI(UNDERCOVER) , CANDLE JUNE(ELDNACS) and me worked together on this limited edition piece for one of JUNE’S events last month in Tokyo…(I had to give it to a local thai guy for I could not resist the look on his face…)

One of the good surprises of this trip…I found “LIFE OF Pi” at a local bookstore in Krabi…one of the best stories I’ve read this year…

  1. Nossa…que desenho lindo. Aliás, todos são maravilhoso, eu amo esse estilo de tatuagem e adoraria encontrar alguém, perto de onde moro, que chegasse perto da qualidade das suas tatuagens.
    Amei.

    Abraços e sucesso
